Miss Gertrude took care of our daughter a couple years before Arlyn was old enough to go to kindergarten. We have many good memories of her sweet smile as she greeted Arlyn each morning and her warm hug when we picked Arlyn up. Arlyn truly loved Miss Gertrude.

We have such fond memories of Aunt Gertrude. Going to her house in Barwick once a year for a family reunion. She loved her family and was always excited when we all were there. She was so thoughtful sending cards to our children when they graduated. We will miss you.

I worked with Mrs Gertrude at Dillon Candy Co for several years before her retirement. What a nice and gentle lady she was. Always willing to do what needed to be done and lend a helping "ear" to a new kid on the block. My deepest condolences to the family for the loss of such a fine person. May God bless.

WE are thankful that she is no longer suffering and is now in a better place than we are.
