Services for Judy Lorene Baillie Day, 63, of Thomasville, are at 4 p.m., Friday, July 30, 2010 at Gatlin Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. Don Prevatt will officiate and interment is in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Day passed away July 26 at her residence. Born, March 20, 1947, in Plant City, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Floyd Eugene Baillie and Dora Newman Baillie of Monticello, Fla., who survives. On Aug. 19, 1995, at Pineland Baptist Church, she married Jessie Gilbert Day, who survives. She was a member of Gatlin Creek Baptist Church and the Ladies' American Legion Auxiliary Post 31. Other survivors include a son, Brian McWaters of Thomasville, step-children, Jessie M. Day of Pembroke Pines, Fla., Seva May of Shreveport, Louisiana and James Day of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Jason Day, Carson Day, Blake May, Logan May, Rann Day, McKinley Day, Hayden Day, Kendall Day, Taylor Day and Bailey Day; great-grandchildren, Lucas May and Parker May; sisters, Donna Lyons and Lynn Medich both of Florida. She was preceded in death by a step-son, Mark Day. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lewis Hall Singletary Oncology Center, 116 Mimosa Drive, Thomasville, GA. 31792. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitors may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com.
